The non-profit Stalnaker Family Association was formed in 1979. The organization's purpose is to promote and foster relationships among the descendents of Jacob Stalnaker (1739 - 1791) and preserve family history. We promote genealogical research and provide information to those interested.

A book written by Cecil E. Stalnaker titled "A Chronology of the Stalnaker Family in America" was published to help preserve this history. You may purchase a copy of this hardbound book for $30.00.

In addition, we are working with the Randolph County Historical Society (RCHS) to help restore the log cabin built by Jacob Stalnaker Jr. in approximately 1795. Once completed, the cabin will be open to the public as part of the Randolph County Museum.

Each July the Stalnaker Family Association holds it's annual reunion picnic near Beverly, West Virginia. Stalnaker's from all over the United States attend and we invite you to join us. Check out the 2006 reunion photographs from this year and plan to attend next year's reunion on July 8, 2007.
